
Citizens of countries other than EU member countries may require a visa to enter Sweden. Contact the Swedish Embassy for further information and application form.
There is a visa application fee of 250 Swedish Kronor, payable at
the time of application. With the exchange rate of April 2001 this amount
equals 31.750 Korean Won.
Residence permits for graduate students and visiting research fellows
Applicant must
- hold a valid passport.
- have been accepted at an institution.
- adequate financial support for the entire period.
- letter of offer of employment.
- have housing arranged.

Applicant must
- have been accepted at university or college
- show adequate financial support for the period of studies
- leave Sweden once studies are completed

General Conditions for Permits
- all permits must be obtained and entered into passport before entering
Sweden
- proper insurance that cover costs for illness/accidents should be obtained
before entering Sweden
Fees to apply for a residence or work permit
You may be required to pay an application fee. If your application is denied,
the fee will not be refunded.
Work permit and /or residence permit ...... Adult 1000 Kr
Work permit and /or residence permit ...... Child (under 18 years) 500 Kr
The Swedish Embassy is obliged to send all applications to the Swedish Migration Board, which decides in all cases. Processing time - up to six weeks. Please do not wait until the last moment with your application!
